Interruptable Processing for Homer

Interruptable Processing for Homer

Homer replans in response to new information or goals. Homer can also receive conditional commands. These two capabilities can be exploited to produce interruptable behavior. For instance, if Homer is given two goals: (1) go to the island, and (2) if you see a bird take its picture, it will go towards the island. On the way, if it happens to see a bird it will incorporate this new information and interrupt its current action of going to the island in order to take a picture of the bird.
