Domain Knowledge for Homer

Domain Knowledge for Homer

Domain knowledge is stored in generic memory. The agent contains knowledge of a small number of common objects (apple, chair, house, etc.), and some of their attributes (size, shape, speed, age, etc.). The text interpreter and planner use knowledge about the effects of action verbs, and the relations between objects and/or attributes. World knowledge can be used to determine reasonable values for "extreme range" adjectives such as "big", "old", "hot", etc.
