Support of Multiple, Simultaneous Goals in Homer
Support of Multiple, Simultaneous Goals in Homer
Goals usually arise through the conversational input to the text interpreter. A human supervisor can enter multiple commands
and queries, and the basic agent will do its best to satisfy them
all. The planner's use of protected
facts permits detection of bad goal interactions, and the goal
matching permits detection of good goal interactions. The use of
blocking goals means that impossible goals are maintained, in case
they eventually become satisfiable.
