Time-Stress Responsivity in the Adaptive Intelligent Systems Architecture
Time-Stress Responsivity in the Adaptive Intelligent Systems Architecture
Events of varying priorities require
different response times, and an AIS must
adjust its reasoning activity accordingly. When a high priority event
occurs, the system must
react immediately, regardless of whatever lower
priority goals it may have. Meta-knowledge is used to store this type of
information which is considered and executed as part of the
architecture's execution cycle.
