Continuous Operation in the Adaptive Intelligent Systems Architecture

Continuous Operation in the Adaptive Intelligent Systems Architecture

An AIS must operate continuously, mainly because the environment affords it no downtime. Unpredictable contingencies pop up asynchronously. In addition, the vast amounts of information never stop flooding the perception systems. Unfortunately, continuous operation limited the choices for control methods available to a specific AIS.
