Psychological Validity of Adaptive Intelligent Systems Architectures
Psychological Validity of Adaptive Intelligent Systems Architectures
The details of AIS's operation do not really have any bearing on human
cognition, nor does its exact behavior. However, in the designers' opinion,
the range and style of behavior is similar to that of humans, as is the
high-level mechanism. Achieving such
cognitive versatility was a
motivating goal in the original design of the
AIS architecture.
