Input-rich Environments for Adaptive Intelligent Systems Architectures

Input-rich Environments for Adaptive Intelligent Systems Architectures

The agents are intended to integrate large amounts of data that are beyond the capabilities of humans to manage, such as vital statistics of patients in intensive care wards. So, the agent cannot possbibly process all information available to it at any particular instant; instead it uses selective attention and focused reasoning to control the amount of information that must be processed.

This makes it possble for AIS agents to perform real-world tasks in dynamic environments.
