Concurrent Events
for Adaptive Intelligent Systems Architectures
External events do not always occur sequentially. Often, more than one event will occur
simultaneously, especially if symptoms of a single cause. This requires
concurrent
operation of the agent's sensing mechanisms.
It also means asynchronous interaction
with the decision making system to serialize events before processing.
